Fitness and maintaining a healthy diet have not always driven me in life - my family has. However, as my children are now grown up, getting fit and monitoring my food intake has taken a major role in my life.
Before my own personal transformation, I hit a plateau in my exercise and diet routine. When I sprained my hip playing tennis, I found myself at a crossroad. I decided personal training could give me the boost I needed to feel healthy again. I trained twice a week and went on on a rigid diet. With dedication, patience, and training, I lost 14 pounds and sculpted every inch of my body. I can confidently say I am now in the best shape of my life!

Lunge Fitness is a growing fitness studio for both men and women. Group training is the foundation of our affordable fitness programs. Through these programs, you learn effective weight training, aerobic and anaerobic circuit training, and cardiovascular training.
In 2010, AJ McDaniel founded the first Lunge Fitness studio in Woodbury, CT, with a mission to educate people of all ages about what they needed to be successful on their fitness journey. To accomplish that, we designed our programs so everyone would have a rewarding experience without breaking the bank.
Since its inception, Lunge Fitness has been designed to help attain fitness goals by connecting the body and mind through knowledge. We educate and empower our clients to make each workout worth it. We are where fitness education and motivation meet to achieve a total body and mind transformation.
